You may want to try Tractor Supply. I think they have a section that has bolts and nuts also bushing and many other hard to find items. JMO

I used 3 of these bolts to replace the 3 head bolts when I modified my 8BA oil canister to fit the headbolt locations on the aluminum heads. Will probably work for you also. Now I don't have to remove the headbolts in order to remove the canister.

I also made a spacer to raise the canister 1/4 in. above the bolt head, if needed. I didn't use it and it's for sale if you need it. It fits on top of the" New" headbolts and gets hidden under the canister mounting flange. Thanks, JIM

Could you use some head nuts as spacers?

I found some heavy-walled steel tubing at McMaster-Carr of Chicago to make axle bearing spacers for my field mower a few months ago. You might try them. Propably have some in stainless, as well.

They have all kinds of hardware.

I use old nuts from Ford spindle kingpin locking bolts. Saw or grind the top of them off and you have 7/16 fine threads on both ends.

My local hardware store has spacers in various diameters and lengths, they appear to be Cadmium plated.

I used a 1" bar of 6061 Aluminum - chucked it in my lathe and whacked a few out. Easy job, works perfectly and looks good.
