Oops, you hit another pet peeve! You said you could care less. That means you do care, but you have the ability to decrease the amount of care you have. The correct terminology would be you could not care less. That means that you have the minimum amount of care possible.

Oh, and BTW, I'm just having fun and pulling people's legs with all this.

Yup, another pet peeve of mine as well.

Unfortunately, not everyone has a sense of "ha ha". AS I said before, I find it interesting what kinds of things irritate people and admit that some things irritate me, but not in a serious, gonna ruin my way sort of thing, more of an sort of way. Fun stuff.

Most people ( me included ) don’t appreciate your game. It’s not part of Ford Barn.

I think people with a sense of humor might appreciated it, and if I post it on Ford Barn, well then, it's part of Ford Barn, isn't it?

you could add wire wheels in 1930 on Buick, at an additional cost.

In 1931, when the 8 cylinder first came out for Buick, I believe all Buicks had wire wheels.

So I guess Ford was ahead of the curve.

Great looking car! I wish I was a bit more liquid and could help you with your overcrowded A situation!
AND, it looks like an old mill in the background, there must be a crick close by.

Obviously the solution is quick and easy, don’t read them.

I won't pretend to know what others on here think, I can only say that I appreciate a little levity and found your "english lesson" amusing.

That is an interesting response from someone that started this by complaining about what someone posted. perhaps you should heed your own advice and allow those of us that appreciate the kinds of posts that got your knickers in a twist enjoy them.

There are many, many members on this site that lack any significant formal education. To ridicule their spelling or grammar will discourage them from posting. That is the last thing we want because many of them have more Model A knowledge than the self professing spelling and grammar experts. Think about it.

Hey Birdman,
I believe that photo was taken by the last owner up above the New Hope area of PA> absolutely beautiful area of PA that has Washingtons Crossing and several covered bridges.

He told me he drove this car around NYC in the past few years, having a place up there...........

Today I am working on the pass door. He had backed up in the garage with the door open- caught the door and now I am enjoying a living hell!

next up is the drivers door- that has rot in the top of the door jam...........
fresh roof vinyl coming this week and then time to take her out for a good run!

weather has warmed up and no more crazy winds......great day here!

regarding the English lessons- guys please lighten up....................

Another solution would be to post in larger font.

A better solution is to adjust the text size in your browser settings.

Back to topic, how about a few more photos, like the interior, dash and engine?

This will be my last response to this off topic.

I wasn't aware that you knew so many members here personally and are acutely aware of their education levels.

Nobody was ridiculing anyone. Personally, if I say something wrong, be it grammar or model A related, I WANT someone to correct me. As uncomfortable as it is to be correct ted online (I know I've been corrected online and it sucks) it FAR outweighs going through life being wrong. It's like walking around with a big booger hanging out of your nose. It's uncomfortable to have it pointed out but that's better than people letting you continue to walk around that way.

So when someone on here corrects someone for a mistaken comment regarding model A's, do you consider them "self professing model A experts"?. I consider them as just someone that knows more than I helping set me straight and i appreciate it. Yes I know the this is the "ford barn" and not the "spelling /grammar Barn" but I am sure that the majority of people would rather be told they have a booger than continue walking around with one, even if the venue they are attending has nothing to do with hygiene.

Think about it.
I have, and this is what I came up with. It seems that you have elected yourself the protector of all those that you see as inferior to yourself. You complain about a post that has nothing to do with you and the poster that it was in reference to voiced no such objection. You post in bold when I have yet read anything that suggests that some members eyesight requires it, in fact, when a member WITH limited eyesight states that your bold hinders their ability to read your posts, you brush them off because you know better. There is nothing wrong with coming to someones defence if they give an indication that they require it but it is somewhat sanctimonious to just assume that people require your "help" when none was asked for or even hinted at.
