Default Pick up, sure but what is it? Help!

Came across this pick up, certainly at least A based, been in one family for a very long time but no one knows much about it other than its been on the farm forever, any helps ?

It Looks Like a front half of a 28/29 Pick Up, with the backhalf home made. Do you have more pixs? What is that on The Headlight Bar ??

I'm pretty sure that the cab and bed was made by the Martin Parry Company in 1928 or 1929 and put on a Model A chassis.
You may find evidence that at one time it had a canopy top that extended from the windshield to the tail gate.

It looks like it has fender mounted truck style turn signals.

I'm not sure, looks different where the body attaches to the cowl and
the blue one has four door hinges and the other has three.
