supercharger shipping to Germany
Do you have a reliable shipper to Europe/Germany that could handle a parcel with 48 lbs and 16 x 13 x 13" size that will not cost an arm and a leg transport fee? Paying a couple hundred dollars is not what I had in mind when I bought the charger...
Thanks for any suggestions! |

Re: supercharger shipping to Germany
Vincent, Try these people but it has to go to Calif then to Europe. Their containers go from Long Beach,CA to Belgium .4 month delay time. Friends here are very pleased with their service.IMO hardly worth the wait if its only $200.

Why didn't you look into the shipping charges before buying the supercharger?

Re: supercharger shipping to Germany
I have shipped many Winters V8 QC centers to Europe and have found the most economical shipping to be USPS Priority Mail. It is still not cheap but the parts got there and I was able to track them. Priority mail also seems to have the least problems at customs. Just my experience.

Canada from Buffalo ,N.Y. $45+ up from $36 last month. I'd jump on that $200 real quick. OMHO Charlie ny |

Re: supercharger shipping to Germany
Deucelover, unable to open your suggestion but I think I found a similar outfit in Germany. Nick, there are no superchargers for flathead Fords around here. I found a good solution to my problem. There is a german run collect place in US that collects all goods in a container, handles the customs over here and sends the stuff right to my doorstep. At least 6 containers per year, next one leaves early December so my stuff will be here late January. Might throw in a couple more parts I pick up in US. Anyone have a nice 34 front brake drum for sale? Anyway - thanks for your suggestions!

Re: supercharger shipping to Germany
shipping prices are going up. I heard shipping cost for a container from China was $2000, now $20,000!

vincent, I am in Switzerland and would be interested to use the shipping service you mention at some point in the future. May I ask you to share the details?
