Planning to be there on Thursday early, hope for good weather and better deals. Will be looking for 1938 Wisconsin plates for my convertible and whatever else I come across. If anyone has a selling location they want to post I would try and stop by to say hi.

This is an excellent swap! My crew was fortunate to catch it on the way to the V-8 meet in Brainerd a few years ago.

Being a "local" Hershey is THE ONE, but when that swap is not local, this one in WI is worth going out of your way for!

I really wish I could go. I am not very far away. I could use tons of stuff at a swap!

Unfortunately the Iola Wi Car Show has become a Thursday-Friday Event. You wont find very much on Saturday anymore. It is a shame as Car People who work or go to school can not make the event. And now we wonder why there are not newer people in the Hobby.

The Iola swap meet/car show was a very nice event several years ago when we happened to be traveling close to that area on our way to an EFV-8 C/A Meet in Minnesota. We found many good buys, and got to meet some fellow barners, flatjack9 and Dave/Green Bay are two that I remember, but I know there were others. I'd love to get there for this one, but just not possible.

Slowforty: You are correct about the weekend having less vendors. Wednesday is setup day so there is not much selling going on. Later Saturday afternoon there are some of the vendors leaving. Get there early and most vendors are there. Some vendors don't get there until Saturday. Saturday is the busiest day as far as people Dave/Green Bay

BTT , just 4 days away! Checked Accuweather a minute ago and forecast is pleasant with a high of 78 degrees on Thursday. Now lets see if that forecast holds till then, I plan on bringing an umbrella regardless, post any swap spots for Barners. Hope to meet a few while I'm there.

As with any swap meet, if you are looking for specific parts, go on the first day. I have been selling there for 30 years and half of my sales are on the first day, dropping by more than half on the second with $1 bunches making most of the last day. You get the same answer from most vendors. Saturday has the car show crowd whose carry-ons consist mainly of trinkets like man cave items or decals.
