Default Power Steering for a 51 Shoebox Vicky

I know the available options, I was just wondering if anyone has actually tried using a uniSteer Power Rack & Pinion Kit on their Shoebox, and what’s their feedback about it. I’ve heard a lot of negative comments, but none of these comments came from an actual “User”, just hearsay

I know that their steering column unit requires new shift mechanism options.

That system used on the Vettes was simple and well-proven on '63-'82 models. DD

I just sent my 51 ford steering box to shoebox central for a rebuild. It's amazing how easy it steers now. Night and day. As long as it's rolling I can steer with one finger.
