I've seen the same scenario with factory trunks on like Packards, including small pull-out drawers labelled "shirts" etc. I don't get it. Didn't most people travel longer distances by rail in that era?

There was a lot of travelling salesman who carried samples, stock and personal stuff for trips that lasted more than one day, sometimes weeks.

Both cars are driven All the time, everyday for the Model A, both cars run very well, and my garage looks used because I use it for what it's made for...turning wrenches, drinking beer, working on cars and having fun.

A to-clean garage is an abused (unused) garage
(Note: Those slot Mags are original magnesium wheels from 1975)
