Are they a good plug for A's?

I don't know what the U stands for, but D-16 is an 18mm plug so won't fit the A head. D series were the plug of choice for early after-market heads. 16 is the heat range and would be satisfactory for the A engine.

UD 16 Champion next to a 3X Model A plug. I use the UD16 in a 1967 International 2424 loader tractor.
