Default Sun tachometer

I have an old two piece Sun tachometer with 5 hookups on the transmitter ; there are plenty of wiring diagrams for the 4 hookup ones but none I can find for what I have . The obvious ones are the engine ground and the plus and minus back to the tach . The remaining two hookups I assume go to the coil and are labeled primary and dist . Which one is plus and which one is minus?
