Default FIXED those turn signals

I've posted three times about my turn signals. Weak glow on indicator light all the time and indicator light did not work when signals were on. FIXED! I'm only posting now because several of you said they had the same problem and couldn't fix it. My steps: 1) ordered an expensive and a cheap flasher; 2) verified which wire was hot at flasher by test light; 3) old flasher was wired with hot to L, green (lights) to X, and blue for indicator to P; 4) I reversed the hot wire and put it to X, lights to L and indicator to P with a new cheap flasher. Presto, everything works like it should. Shows you can't trust previous owners wiring jobs! I believe each time I hooked up a new flasher the way I found it wired, I probably immediately fried the innards so it wouldn't work no matter how I changed the wires, causing the flasher to have a slight power bleed to the indicator light. Flasher that works is from SUMMIT RACING, BSS-N0535 6V for $3.99.

Thanks for the update. I don't have that type of turn signal but good to know for future reference.
