Default Sedan or tudor

How do you know the difference between a 2door sedan or a 2 door Tudor?

If I understand your question, it's the same thing. Ford referred to that body style as a Tudor Sedan.

Tudor has two doors
Fordor has four doors

Both are sedans

Just echoing what's been said before.

Ford called the different bodies a Tudor Sedan or a Fordor Sedan. They also referred to the Victoria bodystyle as the Victoria Sedan.

I didn’t look it up so likely shouldn’t even post
I think the Vic was a Victoria Coupe….can stand corrected
Then there’s aA400 … convertible sedan

Did look it up and found tech info where Vic is referred to as both!!
Ford promoted it as a cross between sedan and coupe

"Ford promoted it as a cross between sedan and coupe
"

So would it be safe to call it a "scoop"? i

I think the Victoria was the ancestor of the later year's Club or Sedan Coupes.

Many have said it was Edsel’s influence on the word Tudor. His love of the Old English countryside and buildings prompted the word Tudor.... classed it up so to speak.
A visit to The Edsel Ford family estate will give you a good look at his keen eye for style..... ✔️

Why does a chicken coop only have 2 doors?

If it had 4, it would be a chicken sedan.

I always assumed it was a clever piece of marketing. They got to include "Ford" in one name and Tudor sounds more elegant than plain old two-door.

A coach is what other manufacturers call what Ford referred as a Tudor, Sedan would be what Ford called Fordor ,as far as I know only Ford used the Tudor,Fordor terminology. I have seen some Pennsylvania titles refer to the Tudor as coach on the title.

Names Tudor, Fordor, pickup are very descriptive. How about Coupe, Coach, Roadster??? Tells you nothing really.
