Ford V8 Cars and Trucks
How many are familiar with this book, written by Victor Page?
I copied some pages out of it, in '94, when I got my 1935, Model 51 Ford truck. It was a reference book in the library, I couldn't check it out, so I had to do that. I still have those pages and they hold a wealth of detailed info. There where at least four revisions, '37 was the first release date then, revised in 40, 42, 46 and 50. My pages are out of the 1940 book. I just won the 1950, revision, on Ebay and I anxiously await it's arrival on about 8/19. Frank |

Re: Ford V8 Cars and Trucks
Here is a one of the pages from what I copied in '94.
It is all very detailed info, I think the best from a non Ford source. Frank |

Re: Ford V8 Cars and Trucks
I bought that book several years ago on Ebay and have learned a lot, and continue to do so, from it. I would much rather read through it for entertainment than a novel.

Don,
Thank you for the update on the books. Page must have been a very serious and dedicated Ford lover. Those books took a lot of work! Frank |

Floyd Clymer also reprinted Victor's book and sold it under the name Early V-8 Ford Service Manual.

Don,
Now that cover looks familiar. I never owned it but, I'm sure I've seen it at some time. What year was it published? |
