Re: What are we doing for The Fourth?
Hope to be in the Irvington, Va 100 plus car parade providing the hurricane forming off the southern coast moves out to sea. Lona will drive her roadster with the grand kids in the rumble and I'll be in the Chrysler with some other grands. Public car showing after. Family boating, water skiing, tubing and picnic following.
We have a lot to be thankful for in this great country. Glen

Re: What are we doing for The Fourth?
was at the Wolfesboro Memorial day parade in NH.
with about 500 people watching, a Marching band of about 40 students and 20 veterans went by. I blinked and almost missed the parade! no fire engines no classic cars and well, really nothing to it.................. couldn't stop laughing! |

Re: What are we doing for The Fourth?
I will be across the River in Canada flying an American flag to show my American friends in Michigan that Canada cares. You will not be celebrating Independence Day alone. United States has been a great friend to many countries around the world including Canada. Have a great party and celebrate your Independence !

Re: What are we doing for The Fourth?
If the sun is shining I will retire my 1919 Model T.
The current tires were on the car when it went into storage in 1964 and I have been driving on them for about 3 years. They have slight age cracks and are as hard as my wooden desk. If the sun is not shining, I will replace the rear rotors on my Dodge Caravan and take a few more parts off the Model A motor so I can make a decision about what to do about the rebuild. |
