Default Coil voltage

Can I assume a original coil that puts out 15 k volts to be good when heated up with heat gun ,.with coil mounted on dist and run up to hi rpm on sun machine?

You know what happens when you assume. (I dated a girl from Ashland when I was at Georgetown College back in the dark ages.)

Don, I guess that test would be OK. Why not mount it on your car and drive it 50 miles on a warm day, that would be a better test. Regards, Kevin.
