Re: Are these 32 B ?
As Sheldon indicates, it is not OEM Model B, but the attachment bolt pattern and operating arm are similar depending on the dimensions. What is sort of weird about the pump are the multiple inlets and outlets, including one that would be nearly up against the side of a B block.

Re: Are these 32 B ?
I've encountered one (and only one, so far) type of ersatz Model B pump. It is not that one, it has only an internal filter and no removable cover on the rocker housing, but is fairly common. After cruising Hershey looking for matches I concluded that it was very likely from a six-cylinder flathead Dodge or Plymouth. It had 1/8 pipe inlet and outlet, each fitted with a brass adapter to take the Ford line nuts. I assume the rocker was replaced with a Ford one, but had nothing along to compare so perhaps the Mopar one was compatible.
The conversion is always the same and the sellers know that it is for a B, though no one labels it as a conversion...so I think it was a commercial offering marketed and cataloged as a B replacement. There's no way of telling whether the sellers actually know that these are not authentic, but they clearly know that B pumps have gotten pricey! |

Re: Are these 32 B ?
Hello Max,
I can't answer your fuel pump question but I started the tear down on the '40 Ford engine we bought from you. The cylinders are standard size. I won't have crank out until this weekend. So far, unless there is a crack issue, it seems to be a good rebuild candidate. I hope you are doing well. Seth |

Re: Are these 32 B ?
AC made pumps for other than GM vehicles.

Re: Are these 32 B ?
Many, but not all production '32 B and V8 fuel pumps were made by AC.
