Was cold this mornin' .. only 3c , I had to cover the radiator for my journey to work. Ok I can hear a few of you laughing saying that's not cold but here that's about as cold as it gets..

Yes I can see where that is uncomfortable for certain. Here we had a spell of lingering cold weather. I hope it won't last. Today was nice, for sure.

Rob ,you need t/stats in that thing.
They are way better than covering the rad. we are back home and just need to wash the 33 clean of bugs and grass hoppers, Lawrie |

Re: Cold this mornin'
Maybe you need a screen for it Lawrie
It has 180 thermostats in it, always has. It just heats up so slowly that I have to cover the radiator unless its summer. The other engine was the same...

Re: Cold this mornin'
98 degrees Yesterday, I had to drive 2 1/2 hours down to Calipatria, CA. A little tiny town out in the desert at the other end of the Salten Sea. It was 98 degrees down there in May.
I hauled home this '32 pickup cab to get that firewall out of it for a '32 5W Coupe project. Its not a bad cab except for that issue of no doors. It seems to be that way on nine out of ten '32-34 cabs here in CA, no doors. The guy thought it was a '34 cab, not with that firewall I needed. On the way back I stopped to take pictures of this bellytank. It was in the middle of nowhere. That is the small version of a real WWII P-38 drop tank. You can tell because the wing attachment point is where two tank halves come together. instead of on top of the tank half. Also the location of the fuel cap. I know because I have one out on the garage. I cannot believe its still out there. A car only came by about once every ten-minutes while I was exploring the graffiti. Was 3C here yesterday morning as well, but it is spring here. Below normal for sure. Still can't plant some the damn plants we bought.
