Starter switch parts???
I have these two parts which are the same.
They are made of fiber and the area where the 3/8" hole is measures 3/4 x 3/4, then it shoots up at a 90 degree angle for 1/4 inch. I believe it goes within the early square starter, the 3/8 inch hole acceoting the battery cable bolt...but just where in the assembly I have no idea unless it is situated near the metal casing. Anyone? Thanks. Pluck Photo to come soon. |

Re: Starter switch parts???
I have seen these on the regular starter switches as well. I wish somebody would reproduce them, but you could make them yourself. At any rate I think a lot of people don't have them in their switches as nothing seems to happen.

OK...I have just three of those and three square starter switches...SO they must belong to the early type switch. I think I figured it out as to where they go in the assembly of things. They go on the inside just before you slide the battery cable bolt through the casing...it is the only place I can see as to where it goes. Pluck |
