How is this meet, is it worth the 2 1/2 hour drive?

This meet is new. We had it last year in July, but we had terrible rainy weather. Still, there were some vendors and there were deals that were better than E-bay. We made it free so folks could exchange parts without having to pay a fee (whether they sold or not). This is nice if you only have a handful of parts to sell or trade. Maybe some nice cars will come out, too. It is a fellowship day for the benefit of the hobby.

I believe the Shartlesville Hotel is still open, along with Haag's Hotel and the Blue Mountain Family Restaurant just up the street. Roadside America is neat by itself, especially if you bring children. Cabela's is also close by.

I am not a lead organizer of the meet, as my wife will be having a little Model A'er (Due May 3), but if you have any questions, you can call Brent or Joe (listed on the form).

Thanks for posting the jpg.

I attended the swap last year in the pouring rain and was very happy with the parts I found and nice people to deal with...Not a huge turnout but good parts to be found..

I remember going to Roadside America when I was a kid. It was a great time for me!! Obviously since I'm in CA now I won't be able to make it, but I hope there is good weather and great times for all.

6 lb. 10 oz. 19-3/4"

Can't wait to get him turnin' wrenches.

I have to work on Saturday morning, but maybe we can get him to the swap meet in the afternoon.

WOW!! A completely FREE swap Meet! Unheard of in So Cal. Some one needs to pay insurance, and the cities need a fee!
