Default Lost part, lock ring for speedo

Took the cable off seven years ago when starting my project and noticed today that I can't find the screw ring that holds the speedo cable to the drive shaft. Any idea on who might have a replacement part? So much for thinking of everything! lol.

Holy cow, I didn't know you could get that piece off the cable assembly without destroying it. I will have to look at mine again.

Are you sure it hasn't slid back ? To put the replacement nut on that is gone ,one end that is crimped will have to be removed .Suggest you replace the cable & casing assy. Not expensive.

It shouldn't come off unless the cable end has been damaged. I'm betting that it has slid forward on the cable.

Yep! call off the dogs...during the paint job process it got slid way ahead by the frame. All good, cleaned up and went right on. Sorry to bother my friends with this!
