Didn't a lot of our early cars (chassis importing and local body building was a big thing promoted by the govt.) have no drivers side door? A safety thing so you don't step out into the traffic.
Yes but we still sat on the RIGHT side of the car. The driver just had to scramble across the front seat and get his legs over or around the gear lever and handbrake. Awkward.
