Default "BAB" prefix on bumper arms

I have a number of NOS bumper arms for Ford. They are stamped with a "BAB" prefix followed by 'good" numbers (correspond with Ford bumper arms).

Problem is, I have no clue what "BAB" (year , model) means.

Any help?

Thanks!

Hello Kube,

I replied to this on the "Late V8" general discussion page.

Something definitely comes to mind for "BAB" but best not said here.

Scicala,
Thanks much for your help. I have attached a couple of photos. I am quite certain I am reading the digits correctly. Anything Ford past 1948, I admit --- I am lost.
