a-bone newby Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2014 Location: b.c. canada Posts: 153	cam gear Sponsored Links (Register now to hide all advertisements) when I got my a it knocked bad and I thought new motor but it was a badly pitted crank gear which took out the cam gear replaced it and no knocking so the cam gear can give a seriously noisy motor who thought rods are only 2.5 or so clearance never a car sitting could rust a crank gear so bad would like any comments thanks
