My new radiator
I was set to buy a bergs radiator for the 1917....but after calling Snyders yesterday to buy some odds and end, I talked with Mr. Snyder. Less than 24 hours later a new Brassworks radiator showed up at the door. It's beautiful. Still a little weak kneed over the cost, but as you guys have stated it's an investment.....right? I cant say enough about the folks at Snyders.

Re: My new radiator
Bergs. I am pleased. Can't compare to Brassworks. My Berg's was a perfect fit and works perfect. I had them recore my original taper top tank with the hood rests and bottom tank with the tabs.

Re: My new radiator
I bought and installed a Brassworks radiator three or four years back. My only complaint is it cooled too well! I Had to spend money to put a 180 degree thermostat in the upper hose to get the thing to warm up! Not a problem since! I am very pleased with the workmanship, cooling, cost and I ordered it on a Monday morning and it was on my doorstep Tuesday evening!

Re: My new radiator
I think you will enjoy the radiator. If I understand you, you purchased one for your Model T, and it is not a Model A radiator. Just wanted to point this out as I think a lot of the gripes about Brassworks has been with the Model A radiators. I hope they have improved as I think they make the most authentic looking repro radiator.

Re: My new radiator
A little update .... installed the brassworks radiator....aside from the mounting holes being off about a quarter inch, everything was perfect....started the truck up today, idled for about 30 minutes and no signs of overheating. Very happy that I finally came to my senses and bought a new rad....good investment.
