Default cam gear

when I got my a it knocked bad and I thought new motor but it was a badly pitted crank gear which took out the cam gear replaced it and no knocking so the cam gear can give a seriously noisy motor who thought rods are only 2.5 or so clearance never a car sitting could rust a crank gear so bad would like any comments thanks replaced with allumun gear

FWIW, just one (1) comment:

"Anything" is possible with a repair by "anyone" ....... on "anything" ...... from repairing a kitchen china plate to a locomotive.

Would never be surprised if one had a severely old pitted crank gear & installed it on a Model A an engine during an engine rebuild.

Even saw a Model A engine where a guy tried to use the large top of fence wire to replace worn piston rings.

As seen often through so many humorous e-mails received today, they not only walk among us, they are allowed to vote & choose leaders who decide how to control our lives.
