'39 Mercurys (the first production Mercury) had 16" wheels.

You can get the front wheel bearings at most parts stores, like O'Reilly's, but it'll cost ya near $100 bucks buying the bearings and races separately. You can get the whole package from someone like Mac VanPelt for about $61 bucks. Or you could also call Michael Driscoll at 3rd Generation Automotive in Tennessee whom would love to get your phone call.....GOOD, personal service! DD

comfirm that they are 16" but they were a wide 5 bolt pattern many of these have been changed to the later 42 hubs as a better selection of parts ie brakedrums etc is avalible

The correct wheels for '39 are 16 x 4., five lug on 10" Centers.. This wheel is typical for all 85 HP 36-39 Ford cars and light duty pickups. The V8 60's and some standard models, reputedly had 16 x 3.5" wheels.

The 16 x 4.0, wide 10" wheels should be pretty easy to find. I think I have three sets (12) of them, however, none of them are for sale.
