ID these Heads
I am going through some early flathead parts I bought and found this pair of 21 stud heads. Both have Ford script and have casting dates of Nov 38 and July 39. I figure they are replacement heads from the casting dates. My question is what do they fit? Are they for a specific year or generic 34-36? I have no use for them and would like to move them along and be able to accurately describe them. Plese tell me what you think.
thank you PML |

Re: ID these Heads
I think this is all the styles of heads.
Domed on the left, FT on the right. I have all 3 styles. The cast iron, domed set, came on my rebuilt, '37 engine. I'm guessing that's what you have.

Re: ID these Heads
They will fit and function on any '32-'37 V8 engine with flat top pistons, but being cast iron they were originally released for use on commercial vehicle/truck engines starting in late 1933.
