Default '41 wheel pinstripes

Hi; I saw some mention of these and have seen a few examples. Just missed a black with red pinstripes today and found a maroon with red stripes. Have also seen cream stripes in the past. Did notice that the center stripe is a bit wider than the two outside stripes? The painter would have to be good to do this by hand. Photos [for fun] Newc

Here's practicing with the Beugler to see how this set-up will work. And, the final results....these are the wheels that "Heard" did for his '36 3-w coupe. If you want wider stripes or mix-'n-match, use a wider wheel! DD

Used a front spindle and hub to mount the wheel on and clamped it in the vise . Center drilled the cap and the end of the spindle so the homemade rod would register in it to eliminate wobble. Clamped my Beugler striping tool to the rod then turn the wheel.

I still have the original color keyed pinstriped rims on mine if you need some measurements
