Because the hood rod is not held down at the front like the Model A, no real safe way to use a hood prop. If I want to show off the engine I just take the hood off, or just open the carburetor side, not much to see on the other side anyway. I have set the hood sides on the cowl and radiator, I have also had it fall over and off.

yeah most of time hood would fall over on fender replaced with model a hood retainer 2 screws and its off hood dose not come off i can put both side up i use 2 wooden blocks to hood hood looks mickey bot its its stable but with the model a hood prop it has 3 hood rods i think i might have to install the 2 hood rods to keep the balance and to show off my engine
