Default e28 rear bumpers and brackets

I am in need of a set of rear bumper brackets for my Jan 28 tudor sedan. Someone torched mine in its former life . Are all rear brackets the same, 28-31? I see some on ebay listed for 28-29 and I have seen others listed as 28-31. Are pickups, open cars, etc different than the sedan? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pickups had no rear bumper brackets, and the other years did have changes. Do you have a copy of the Restoration Guidelines/ Judging Standards?

Are the brackets you are referring to the one's that hook under the frame on one end, and hold the bumper on the other? I know the risers that attach to the body are different on coupes, roadsters, tudors, etc.

I think I have one of the early 'T' cross-braces.

Thanks for the information Tom. I don't have a copy of the judging standards but know a fellow who may. Will check with him. Yes Jim Parker, they are the long ones that attach to the frame on one end and the bumpers are on the other. You mentioned the risers attaching to the body and mine are 2 3/4 inch from body to center of rivet on bracket. Brent, my cross brace is tubeular instead of T in shape. I am attempting to attach a picture and do not know if it will work. Have never done it before and this the first try. Just stumbling through the instructions. Thanks to all of you for your help. Jerry

PS. Brent, FYI I saw in anothe post from Steve Plucker that he is looking for specs on the early T shaped cross piece if you feel like contacting him..
