Default 1950 ford ign. Switch removal

its been sometime since I had one out remember something about push in and turn but doesn't seam to want to unlock service manual doesn't tell much any ideas

Push the switch assy. from under the dash towards the rear of the car, this loosens the bezel which can now be rotated to disengage.
