Default Flathead Ted anchor bolt question

These are actually 1932 brakes and I bought he appropriate floater kit for 1932 but I thought there would be more responses on the A side of the forum. Is the feature just above the threads on the anchor bolt supposed to drop into the new and old track? See photo, mine only goes down this far. Before opening up the feature in the old track I thought I would ask. I asked Ted on his facebook page also but was wondering someone here could lend some insight.
Thank you,
Scott Frazee

Ted has a web site with a question and answer forum. That would be your best bet

Thanks Mitch, the latest of the three posts on his forum was from 2013 and none of the three cover this topic. This board has slightly more traffic so I hope that one of the people who have installed this kit could comment.

Yes the shoulder should drop into the recess in the track, some fit tight, the 32 brakes use most all the same parts as the A, just larger diameter drums and shoes to match
