Default How to contact someone

Help me to understand since I'm new to Fordbarn. I'm looking for parts for my recent purchase, but not able to contact someone since I need at least 10 posts, right. Not sure, how to get involved in the community if my account is restriced. I'm looking for parts and would also respond to some WTB adds. Is there any other way to contact amother member on Fordbarn? Thanks

I wouldn’t respond to those two guys, I’d respond to me. 😜

I believe it’s setup that way to keep scammers out and encourage discussion. Seems to have worked pretty good.

Thanks. A scammer can do this as well. Still don't get it ...

I bought an all original '29 Roadster (see Avatar) that was stored in a barn for decades. After the owner passed the car was up for auction and I was the lucky one. The car has a lot of patina ... that's what I like so much about old cars. I need to see and small the past of the car ...

The car needs a rumble seat and I'm also looking for a set of 21" white walls and a used roadster top in tan/beige. I don't want to buy new stuff in order to keep the "used" appearance of the car ...

Now I have my 11 post. Was it so hard? .. NO. Can I now respond to a members add? ... still NO. I guess, now an admin has to give his approval to override my restriction ...

Hi, to preserve your patina finish, people have suggested wiping the body with kerosene.
