Default Dash Plaques

This is a touch off topic but....I have been going to car shows with my 1941 Coupe for years. I have 150 dash plaques and would like suggestions on how to keep and display them.

I've seen them displayed on a plywood board that has been sealed with polyurethane. Looks nice.

Instead of polyurethane consider using a two part epoxy covering the highest plaque by an 1/8 inch or so. Would look really professional.

I have over 280 dash plaques beginning in the late 60's to now from Model A events around the U.S. I have them displayed on my office walls in frames made from Model A parts: 2 w/s frames, 2 sedan door window frames, a '29 radiator shell, 2 headlight rims, 2 cowl light rims & one horn bell. Creates quite a conversation starter.

Back in 1978, the Qld Early Ford V8 Club decided to organise an Annual "All Ford Rally". All Entrants were given a Dash Plaque.
Starting in 1979, it was decided to add a colour picture of a Ford V8 starting with the 1932 model followed by the next model until the last of the Flatheads.
The All Ford Rallys ended in 1999 with a picture of a 1954 Ford Mainline Ute, the final year of the Flathead engine in Australia.
Check out these very collectable Ford Rally Dash Plaques.
This is how one Entrant saved all his Dash Plaques, mounted on a Board.

I sold off a bunch few years ago. There’s some real “Niche” collectors that hunt for certain events, locations etc. it’s kind of a dying art. I used to get one or more at every show. Now they don’t bother or can’t afford the dash plaques.

Depending how many you have...............
I have a buddy of mine who used old license plates as 'wall paper' in his shop bathroom.
It would take a lot more dash plaques than license plates, but......................

I mount mine on flat fridge magnets and stick them on garage door or a few under the hood or even fridge easy to remove and no damage

I put magnetic tape on the back and then stick them to the tin walls in my shop.

There are at least a dozen in the glove compartments of every old vehicle I own.

A friend with a '36 humpback plastered the inside of his trunk lid with dash plaques. After a few years he ran out of room, as of course a hump back has the smallest lid of all the early Fords!

My own dash plaques would always wind up misplaced somewhere. What I would definitely do if I had a woodie, is the window decals from vacation spots!

I stick a piece of magnetic pad on the back and stick them on garage door easy to remove and stick on dash or any metal surface

My brother has a large magnetic board that takes about half of his back seat(Ford Crown Vic), mine I stick on my metal wall cabinets in the garage.
