More info: the evergreen model A club put a borrowed engine in a roadster just shortly before the race started down in California. It was a father(77 yrs navigator) and daughter( the driver) team. Our Tacoma club volunteered at the finish at the LeMays family museum.
The part about the model A club tour to view a restored model A bus is self explanatory.

You got a tax cut on July 4th. Means you can afford straighter sheet metal.

You know, within this hobby are all types of interests, from modified , racing, high point, parade/ice cream runners, and even those that will probably never halve a running car, but just like to talk about it.
But you’re probably right. Many parade/ice cream cars are basically a nice paint job, but you couldn’t trust em to go more than a few miles!
We had one the other day a lady inherited from her father that looked nice, but mechanically it was in pretty bad shape.

I'm just poking fun,we all like the car.To some the beauty is the appearance,to others it's the mechanicals.
