Default Front Engine Support

I would like some experience feedback and pictures of the Float-O-Motor Front Engine Support installed in a Model "A." Can this support be installed without removing the radiator?

I use that front mount on both of my banger powered cars. The rear mount is oem.
‘30 Coupe, ‘31 Tudor
IMO, they work great.
Yes, they can be installed with the radiator installed, but might require a 90 degree drill for the drivers side.
I also use nyloc nuts instead of castellated, just my preference.

Thanks Ken. I am going to install this mount in my 190A and 45B over the coming winter.

Bob, I have the same one but I installed it when I had the engine out.

You will have to drill holes in the xmember for it to fit, that might be a real challenge with the radiator installed.

Ken
I have often wondered if this front mount could be used with stock rear mounts.

Did it improve vibration any?

Is there any benefit to using the front FAMs compared to OEM?

? Less moving parts? Drilling more holes in the cross member is a negative IMO

Yes, IMO if you are using rear floatamotor mounts. It helps provide the support lost when the box style mounts were removed.
