Crime Wave 1954
Just finished watching the movie from 1954 on TCM. Lot's of good shots of cars from that era. Can someone help identify some of the cars? Young Charles Bronson plays a heavy.

Re: Crime Wave 1954
Crime Wave. TCM had a good intro describing the movie so I watched it. Little over an hour long. Not being an expert on car ID I believe there is a good mixture of Ford, Mercurys & Lincoln's in it as well as a perhaps model A roadster with a 32 grille. Also saw a glimpse of COE as well as a Nash in the background.

Re: Crime Wave 1954
The black and the cream-colored cars in the getaway/chase scene appeared to both be '52 Lincolns. And yup, they did easily pass that Nash illegally on the right side in one of the scenes. All sorts of neat ol' jitneys in that movie. You can see the LA City Hall off in the distance. DD

Thanks V8. In the opening scenes there's what I assume to be a 54 Woodie wagon. Also would like to know what that COE is in a brief glimpse. Old movies are fun.

Numerous Fords of various years, one 40 Merc 4door convert and the AV8 hotrod with aluminum heads and dual carbs. Lots of neat rolling stock.
