Re: Seat springs
I am very pleased with the interior and rumble seat spring sets that I purchased from Mac's.

I believe there's only one manufacturer.

Re: Seat springs
Since we are on the subject of seat springs, I have found that in many cases the front seats are too soft. I put a new interior in my Town Sedan. In the process, I took a close look at the seat springs and put some stiffer coils from an old rear seat bottom that I got at Hershey. What a difference. Now I was sitting on top of a comfortable seat instead of "inside it!" Take a close look at how the coils are wired in place and how they react when a load is placed on them. It doesn't hurt to have additional retainers to keep the coils in place and vertical. Also, do a good job of spray painting them for long life. Ed

Re: Seat springs
Others may carry them but I believe Snyder’s is the main/best manufacturer
I’ve seen some imported stuff before but not in awhile......good! (Good that I haven’t seen any!) Last edited by Oldbluoval; 07-11-2021 at 04:13 PM. |

Re: Seat springs
If your looking for more leg room forget the springs. I just had a car done with 2'' of foam. It looks and feels great.....I have also gained some leg room.

Re: Seat springs
Not sure what the problem was. Yesterday I was able to place order and springs should arrive tomorrow. I have always liked Snyder's great company.
