wanted: transmission for a V8-60

I listed this thread (https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=241792) recently for a friend, purporting to need a Model A transmission. After some additional research it turns out he needs a transmission from a V8-60.

I tried to edit the original thread title, but was not allowed to change the title in the thread list, therefore it still showed up as needing a Model A trans.

In order for folks to see this in the thread list as needing a V8-60 trans I'm posting this as a new thread.

SO, here's the request:

I'm posting this for a friend that doesn't do computers.

He needs a transmission from a V8-60.

Of course the closer to Missouri the better, but anything considered.
