U-Joint Lub
Is there a better way of lubing the throw-out bearing? My PicUp and I are getting older now days, and I'm having a hard time getting to it. Did install a transmission dip-stick which took care of that issue
Thanks |

Re: U-Joint Lub
Most throw out bearings these days are sealed. How old is yours?

Re: U-Joint Lub
Most replacement release bearings today are sealed and can't be greased thru the collar fitting.
Older bearings can be greased thru the collar fitting. A flexible hose could be fitted to the grease fitting to the side of the bell housing so the grease fitting could be accessed near the pedal shaft. |

Re: U-Joint Lub
That collar needs/should be greased every once in awhile, a pump or two will do.
