Re: starter update
It looks like you could make your own from an old starter switch.

Re: starter update
What am I missing? Why would you change out the simple foot starter to a dash mounted starter button?

Re: starter update
The lug on the starter has enough meat to solder the strap to..reduce the chance of arcing..
I was like 'why' too..till last weekend when I worked on a car with a button mounted on the dash rail..could reach through the window and bump the starter. |

Re: starter update

In the mid 70's I posted on a lot of BBS Bulletin Board Systems using the ARPANET... no photos or attachments ... just Ascii text. This was many years before DOS or Windows or Apple for that matter. CP/M was the Operating System. Back then if you typed with all capital letters it was considered to be "shouting" and was used ONLY when you were pissed off or you wanted to be rude. One fellow named Bill AWAYS used capital letters and continued even after the "Shout Police" repeatedly harassed Bill about it. Then one day a message was posted on the BBS under his User Name using upper/lower case. Bill's wife wrote. quote: "This is Bill's wife. Please stop the harassment. Bill was paralyzed from the neck down when he was shot just after he pulled the pin on a grenade and before he could throw it away. He types all of his own postings one letter at a time using a "wand' that he holds in his mouth. I trust that this should put an end to this problem!" ENDquote Benson said: I always remember what I learned in VA Hospital in late 60's! added today The text in red just above is what Bill's wife said to readers on the BBS... sorry for the confusion! Last edited by Benson; 06-17-2020 at 09:24 PM. Reason: Added quote/ endquote and others to clarify |

Re: starter update
Beater,
Sorry about that. My original Post 9 was not clear and did not come over like I meant it to. I made corrections to post #9. Better yet lets forget about it. |
