Default hood question

is there any hood length size difference in the model A years? i have a 29 tudor sedan the hood i have doesnt fit the shell just right its like it is too short. i can bring the top of the shell in to meet, but the sides of the shell doesnt meet the hood. i was told the hood is off of a 29, but i dont really know other than it has a ridge running along it down by the hood sides. do i have the right hood or is this a four door hood? thanks

Sounds like a fordor or cabriolet hood but it should be the same lenght as a std. 29 hood.

All hoods were the same for all models for all 28-29s and 30-31s

When you say length, it sounds like you mean top to bottom, but I think of hood length as front to rear.

As said, it sounds like you have a Fordor/Cabriolet hood. However the fit would be the same as the only difference is the beltline a few inches above the hood side hinge.

Are the lower rear corners of the hood sides too close (opposite the front corners)? If not it sounds like a radiator issue. It's a long shot but it could be an early '30 "AA" commercial radiator. I photo of the back side of the radiator would tell.
