Default 36 Transmition bearings

Just wondering if anyone has used a sealed bearing for the input shaft and not used the wick seal? I would think the oil drain hole would have to be sealed. Stay safe and healthy.

Use a ‘37 and later front bearing retainer with a seal. Seals are readily available. Use a shielded bearing.
