gasket question
is there supposed to be a gasket between the front of the bell housing and the back of the engine? or maybe just permatex?

Re: gasket question
Don't forget the U-shaped flywheel housing shims, between flywheel housing and block, to balance this gasket thickness out. See "How to Restore Your Model A," Vol. 4, pg. 10.

Re: gasket question
Be sure to install the gasket with the round area over the camshaft. It doesn't work very well when installed the opposite way. It will leak like a sieve. I believe that is why many use the permatex instead of the gasket.
