Abbreviations/Jargon
I just realized that the unfamiliar might not have a clue when abbreviations, jargon, etc. are used in a post. Don't assume the reader knows what you're talking about. Some of the newer/younger members might be better versed in 21st-century English (if you can call it that-LOL). Still living in the 20th century, I have trouble understanding the latter and often have to search for a definition. if things keep going the way they are, we'll soon be using sign language exclusively (I know a few of the commonly used ones but avoid using them).

I agree. Some of them seem like they're just making up a name for a part.

You had better not type a police report with all of those and when the judge reads that
