Like many others, I've had issues with the valves including the grosjet style sometimes not seating properly. Due to failed seals in my small engines (blowers, etc) , adding Stabil or other brand (ethanol) additives appear to help, especially with the vitons in the carb.We can't buy non ethanol fuels except at equipment rental stores.

I use the non ethanol, I have a gas station close to my house that sells it.
