Default 31 Roadster doors

Does anyone have any advice on where to purchase roadster doors. Are there several people making them or only one or two for all the parts dealers? Are Brookville the best/closest to original or are there others that are better? I would like to use originals but they are hard to find in good condition/reasonable price. Any advice is appreciated.

For what it's worth, I just rec'd my new SNYDERS catalogue. It has new roadster doors for a number of applications (skins/full/different yrs).

Give them a phone call and discuss origin of their doors, if curious as to who makes them. Brookville, for sure, is one source to my knowledge.

Since I'm not a purist, I'd trade a very good set of originals to you for a set of repros. Just saying, since you mention wanting originals. I understand a restorer wanting to have original parts and I was same at one time. Now I'm a driver and the doors mentioned are on my driver !

I bought a complete right door from Snyder's. Not cheap, but it fit really nice. If I remember, the outside and inside sections are not welded so they can be easily tweaked to fit your body curve for good top and bottom gaps. A couple of easy little welds finishes it up.

The skins are manufactured by Albrecht, and the inner structure is manufactured by A.A.S. A.A.S. is the one that temporarily assembles them into doors however as mentioned by Greg, they are only tack-welded together and must be fitted and finished welded.
