Default 34 Ford brake pedal.

I'm trying to figure out where the spring for the brake pedal attaches. Its attached to the pedal, but where does the other end attach at? Pics or a good explanation would be appreciated. I'm just not seeing anywhere it attaches to. It's on a 34 Phaeton.
Thanks.
Bob
