Default Engine removal question.

If I’m planning on putting a 39 trans on the back of my 8BA in my 36 Fordor, I need to remove and keep the rear transmission mount, and not just give it to the guy who bought the engine, correct?
And in order to unbolt it, I need to remove the U joint and keep that as well, correct?

Thank in advance
