Default Model B Engine to Model A Housing

I have a question about the Model B 4 cylinder engine when mated to the Model A clutch housing. On the Model A engine, it is possible to remove the rear main bearing cap thru the area provided when a shim adjustment is needed but when the Model B rear main cap is removed, it will not fit thru the hole without a modification to the housing. Years ago I had a sketch of the modification to the housing but cannot find it. If anyone has a sketch for this modification, please let me know. From what I remember, a Vee notch was cut out and a larger sheet metal cover was made.

You are correct in the lower section of the inspection cover area must be modified. I have seen plenty of "butcher jobs" over the years but never a template showing the mod.
