Here's one for you, Do you know the "A"s were not hand striped with a brush but witha "Buehgler" striping tool. There still available and come with the different width of wheels. That how they got the 3/32 inch stripe on the "A" (I think I spelled the name right) If you use the "Oneshot" Sign writing enamel you'll have the best luck. The trick is get the mix right. Tinbasher,

I'm not so sure about that as Buegler wasn't in business until 1934. The Buegler can also leave serrations in the stripe as the result of the paint wheel.

Your advice on One Shot is spot on tho!

Jim Brand does an excellent job. He has pin stripped many of the high point cars.

I practiced on the door glass of my wife's Oldsmobile. Glass cleans really easy with thinner and it is a large area to play around with curves and line thicknesses.
